This program is designed to support you on your journey toward achieving weight loss as a means to improving your metabolic health and transforming your relationship with food. By the end of this program you will have improved biomarkers for cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure levels that support improved cardiovascular health. Beyond these components, you will have an improved understanding on how to nourish your body following principles of intuitive eating so that you can regain control of your health, your energy and your body.
To start this process, we work on leaving behind foods that can cause inflammation.. Minimizing reactivity will allow your body to function better in digestion, absorption, and healing. We achieve this by following a whole foods plant forward food plan that provides a diet that is nutrient dense. This approach will provide the building blocks for healing as well as the therapeutic components of foods to address factors of metabolic syndrome. Throughout this program you have a daily nutrition guide with fun recipe suggestions, but feel free to create your own dishes and explore.
During the course of this program, you will have regular visits and check-ins with your certified nutritionist to conduct progress assessments and to provide you with support along the way. Rather than relying on weight measure alone for progress assessment, we use a body fat analyzer that conducts bioelectrical impedance analysis to measure a breakdown of body fat mass, body lean mass and body hydration status.
